His hands were on the hood. We'll never know the full intent.....but it was clear she wasn't concerned about it at the very least and accelerated into him anyway. Decent people don't do that.

Regardless, intent is legally meaningless. It may have mattered for her charges had she survived but she's dead because of her stupidity. Too bad.
