Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks. This will be a double sided CEASEFIRE! Big mistake. Maybe a few outlaying commanders fired rockets at Israel before getting the order to stand down, but agreeing to another two week ceasefire is just a total waste of time that Iran will milk, violate and use to regroup their forces and just push Trump closer to some deadline where democrats try to force him out of the war.

Iran is not going to relent, there will be no regime change, and Trump is just getting played. The minute we back down our offenses, Iran will be right back 100% more so than ever.

I think you’re right. Just as the Iranians played with obstruction and delays with inspection of their nuclear facilities, they will stall and delay cessefire talks while they try to re- arm.
