BREAKING: Supreme Court says US must aid in return of man deported by mistake

Yes the “due process” part doesn’t require him to be flown back to the US. He can have his interview via zoom or we can fly the official down there to do it in person if needed. He doesn’t need to see a judge or go to court. Hell even if he did need to see a judge we do court hearings via video conference for US citizens who reside in the US we can’t do that for an El Salvadorian citizen who doesn’t? It’s not 1975, technology exists.
His rights were violated
The courts, including Supremes ruled so
Trump administration admitted so

They have to reverse their error

What about the TN. cops who pulled him over, and the guy sitting in the car in TN., next to him when that happened is the guy who is testifying for immunity.
Finding undocumented people doesn't prove the felonies alleged. Seems like they need more than this. Not that they don't have it. I just think this should be viewed with healthy skepticism, given prior events.

Did you read the indictment? Doesn't seem like you have.
If you ever do read the indictment, the case against him is solid.

I read it. I saw claims of testimony and circumstantial evidence. If all proven true, maybe enough to convince a jury, maybe not. I wouldn't call it a slam dunk. I would say they are on shaky ground.

Example: "Garcia said he drove from St. Louis, but he.... was actually in the Houston area."

That's not good circumstantial evidence.

If you would inform yourself, you will find that they know he was not in St. Louis picking up workers when he lied to the TN. cops, but picked up the illegals in Houston instead. There was some sort of tracking device in his car that keeps track of where the vehicle has been.

The correction of the error is the interview with the INS official. I’s dotted t’s crossed. All of his “rights” will then be “unviolated”. Sorry but this is just dumb. Making him whole from a rights perspective does not require a plane ride back to the states.

I recall many said he was never coming back.

No, what you were told is even if he came back he was going to be deported again. And that’s what is going to happen after he sits in jail for this trial that the DOJ is going to use to run him and his family through the ringer and then send him to some country in Africa.

He’ll, I wouldn’t be surprised if the prosecution brings every democrat politician that went to visit him to the stand. Just to make them look stupid.

This isn’t being done to appease the court, it’s being done in preparation for the ‘26 elections. Every single democrat candidate is going be tied to this piece of shit.

So he is coming back, but the trump regime cooks up some charges against him. NAZI Germany 2.0.

Again, it is as bad as what Obama did with al-awlaki. Family and lawyers were begging for due process. Obama said no.

That has already happened. Why are you mad about that?

He'll get a butt load of due process, now. He can call witness - including Senator Van Hollen. He can compel Van Hollen, or whoever else he wants to call to appear in court, go under oath, and answer all questions. There is no Senatorial Privilege. He can have his wife testify as a character witness, but I'm not sure if he can compel her to cover any black eyes with makeup. Not legally.

The prosecution can compel Van Hollen to appear also, if Abrego Garcia does not. But, as we know, if Van Hollen is innocent, he has nothing to worry about.

I'm sure his boss keeps careful record of who he sent Abrego Garcia to traffic give a ride to work. So he can subpoena his old boss to hand over those records so he can call those riders as witnesses.

Of course the prosecution can also subpoena that guy and find those hard working employees. They can call in experts on tattoos to clear up the mystery of Abrego's tattoos. Do they say "MS13" or "Strong Deeds Gentle Words - Maryland loves fathers!"

Are you not looking forward to all that process that Abrego Garcia is due?
