Nope. Looks like the driver died, according to the Austin American Statesman. Unclear if crash caused the driver's death.
That tell me the crash could have been due to medical emergency, but no word on that.

Had a friend that had a stroke while driving and passed away. Gas pedal pretty much pressed to the floor all the way through a house. Happened during the day and the inhabitants were at work and at school. So no additional tragedy. It can happen.

Surprised that they didn't have the place wrapped in concrete bollards. Our ER has them (well had them) to keep that from being able to happen it is such a foreseeable thing. It is under gut-job renovation right now so you would have to drive through about half the hospital to reach the temp ER.
