Republicans are pissed and I understand why.

A lack of an arrest is not an excuse to troll this thread - it just means that they haven't acted upon it ... yet.

Who knows if they do? Not me or anyone posting here in this thread.

I do think that the republicans should let this one go - an arrest is not going to translate into a conviction, so it will only serve as a distraction.

The real reason to hate the IRS is because they are a bunch of commie **** heads.

I respectfully disagree with your belief that this doesn't go further than the IRS, Cabbie and I'll tell you why...

I think at the very least, mid level people in the Justice Department and the White House knew about the targeting of conservatives early on. If it really WERE just some people in the IRS then the Obama White House could have easily defused this scandal by having those people fired. You make a big show of being outraged. You name names and point fingers and you shit can those responsible as publicly as possible. They didn't do that though...instead they stonewalled the shit out of this bad boy month after month despite how bad it was starting to smell of a coverup. If you were the White House...why would you subject yourself to that? Quite frankly the only reason that makes any sense at all is that there were people who knew about this in the Justice Department and the Obama White House. I think we saw this coverup BECAUSE it went beyond the IRS.
