Dems got a win in a vacant Congressional district they have long controlled in the Houston ghettos. This is only significant in that Sylvester Turner hasn’t been turning up to vote since he died in March 2025 and this newly elected representative will add to the dimocraps current voting block.

Of less relevance, but something that will get greater notice, is the result of the special election in state senate district 9. Dimocrap union thug Taylor Rehmet decisively beat out the White House endorsed and well funded GOPer, Leigh Wambsganss. Very low turnout in a very red district.
The reason this lacks significance is that the winner will not cast a vote at any point in this term. The term expires at the end of this year, and the legislature will not meet again until next year. Meanwhile there will be a general election in the fall to fill the seat. All that was won here was bragging rights and a meaningless title for nine it ten months.

So I guess what you're saying is Republicans didn't care at all all about winning these elections.

Cool.

The congressional district in the Houston ghettos was drawn as a containment area of dimocrap voters.

The state senate seat didn’t draw turnout for the reasons noted in the op. Different story come fall. The GOP will have to fail massively on an unprecedented scale for it not to revert. Something those spineless cucks are very capable of.

Wasn’t this a district Trump won by 17 points?
Do not worry. The Christians will be killed if they let themselves. The globalists control near total finances and economics. So, their paying for their goals is endless. You do not even understand why the ghettos never end.

President Donald Trump had won the district by 17 points back in 2024, while Rehmet’s success is the latest Democrat win ahead of November’s midterm elections. The Democratic National Committee (DNC) said on Saturday the party had clinched or overperformed in 240 out of 269 elections it described as “key” since the start of the second Trump administration.

“This victory is another sign that Democrats have the momentum heading into November,” the DNC said.

Yeah, no, meaningless gibberish detached from objective observation.

Yes.

Democrats narrowed Republicans’ U.S. House majority and flipped a state Senate seat on conservative terrain in a pair of Saturday special election runoffs in Texas with national implications.

Democrat Christian Menefee won the special election runoff Saturday for Texas’s 18th Congressional District, paring House Republicans’ slim advantage by securing a long-vacant seat in a heavily Democratic area. In a second election runoff in Tarrant County, which includes Fort Worth, Democrats won a notable upset, with Taylor Rehmet defeating Republican Leigh Wambsganss in a district where President Donald Trump won by 17 points in 2024.

Democrat Taylor Rehmet won a special election for the Texas state Senate on Saturday, flipping a reliably Republican district that President Donald Trump won by 17 points in 2024.

Rehmet, a labor union leader and veteran, easily defeated Republican Leigh Wambsganss, a conservative activist, in the Fort Worth-area district. With almost all votes counted, Rehmet had a comfortable lead of more than 14 percentage points.

This win goes to everyday working people,” Rehmet told supporters.

His victory added to Democrats’ record of overperforming in special elections so far this cycle. Democrats said it was further evidence that voters under the second Trump administration are motivated to reject GOP candidates and their policies.

This is a very reliable Republican District. Trump easily won there twice. Republicans have NOT done well in "Special Elections", for several years. Voter backlash over Trump's polices is growing. Rumors of Trump trying to stop the upcoming Mid-Term Elections would result in huge demonstrations across the country and that would all but spell the end of the MAGA/Republican Party.

Wash. Rinse, Repeat. Means nothing other than one worthless party hands off the baton to the other worthless party to drive the stake through the nation and finish it off.

Here we go again. Ten dollars a gallon for gasoline and the culling of fast-food places this time around.

Meaningless, but it is kind of fun to watch the high fives exchanged on one side and gnashing of teeth and hurricane warnings issued by the other over a seat where a vote will never be cast and normalcy will return in November.

Trump's endorsed lackey had his ass handed back to him. Cry harder & try not to have another running down your leg "code brown" moment.
