But back to reality, Joe was trying to win elections, which means Joe had to wait till after the election while appearing to embrace the justice system and democracy. However, he did not want to pardon him immediately after the election either, so as to drive home the point that is what he was waiting for to pardon him, so he waited a month after the election to pardon him.

It's all republicans talked about to counter that Flynn plead guilty.

Perhaps because they realized he was innocent, unlike Hunter who plead guilty numerous in court.

Before Covid we had historically good economic numbers, a secure border, were becoming energy independent, had Arab nations signing peace accords with Israel and Putin wasn't invading anyone. No, it wasn't an accurate answer. One of these people never went to jail, most of the rest had other complicating crimes involved beyond the tax evasion. (Snipes refused to file any taxes or make payments, Hemsley committed fraud against contractors, and Rose was gambling).

He'd spent decades using family connections to get himself appointed to things like the Amtrak board where he pulled down big money for no show jobs. Hunter has been cashing in on the Biden family name from the moment he graduated from college and his father has been enabling that behavior throughout it all!

I doubt GW Bush would have appointed him to Amtrak if he didn't think he was good at his job.
