Now, if you want to amend the constitution to get rid of the pardon or say a president can't use it to exonerate family members or associates, I'm fine with that.

But the Pardon exists for a reason, and that is to correct injustices by the Judicial Branch.

My biggest problem is, it isn't used enough.

I'm hoping Biden commutes the sentences of everyone on Federal Death Row before Trump starts popping them off like party favors.

Snipes didn't pay 23.5 MILLION in taxes. in fact, he straight up refused claiming that IRS had no authority over him.

Rose didn't pay taxes on money he made illegally gambling. When he was hit with future leins from the IRS in 2004, 2009 and 2012, he paid those off without going to jail.

Helmsly didn't just evade taxes, she committed outright fraud by billing work on her personal mansion to her hotel company, and THEN stiffed her contractors.

Willie Nelson never went to prison, his case was entirely resolved by him paying his back taxes.

That's one interpretation. Another is that he simply didn't know that his business entertainment expenses weren't as tax deductable as he thought they were. In any event, this became a moot point when he paid his back taxes with interest.



Darn straight. The last thing he wants is Trump further harassing Hunter with more bullshit charges now that he's putting clowns in charge of the DOJ like Biondi and Patel.

Or, there's actually something he's worried about. You have to admit, there's something fishy about all of that. He gets this very lucrative job with not really any experience, where he was paid a lot of money, some say so burisma could have access to Joe. The suspicious emails, 10% for the big guy, and now we're almost 140 billion into a war with Russia on Ukraine behalf.

Some might think zelensky has the receipts on biden, and that's why we are knee deep into that war.
