The question is, where is the unfairness here? If Hunter Biden wasn't related to the president, these charges would never have been brought, and you know it.

Let's take the filling out Form 4473 wrong. Only about 300 prosecutions a year for that, and they are almost always when the person is caught committing another crime with that gun.

Democrats only want to prosecute their opponents to the full letter of the law, while they pardon their corrupt elite CONVICTED Dem criminals.

Oh, get over yourself. Trump, Bush Jr, Bush Senior, and Ford all used the Pardon power to cover up for political cronies.

Ford Pardoned Nixon.
Bush Sr. Pardoned everyone who was involved in Iran Contra, including those who weren't on trial yet and might have improved memories.
Bush Jr. Commuted the sentence of Scooter Libby, who took a bullet for him over the Plame case.
Trump pardoned Manafort, Flynn, Bannon, and Papadopolous.

I have no idea what brother Jim has supposedly done. Is he the President's brother, there was scuttlebutt about, being involved in the scams they couldn't get Hunter on, so also never charged with anything? If true, it makes a good call as House investigating committees either have no clue and on political witch hunts, or just simply incompetent, thought many being lawyers and committees have subpoena powers for document, records, sometime even people. Look at their long-running investigation of Hillary, and not only unable to nab her on anything after hours of her being questioned by everybody who was anybody, but couldn't even get a referral to DOJ, with Trump in the White House promising to "Lock Her Up", "Crooked Hillary". I think house investigations were better, back in the 1990s. The political hacks, up there, these days, can't find their own butt with both hands. I don't even think they really care, except for the face time on FOXNEWS to enhance support at election time, incompetent or not.

The whole Biden family was in on the influence peddling, White. So does Joe pardon everyone? How embarrassing is that going to be!

He was "Caught" by the fact that partisans in the IRS went after him for being Biden's son.

Now, it's one thing to use the criminal justice system to strike at political opponents, that's an issue we can discuss at length whether or not it is a legitimate check or balance.

It's quite another to go after family members.

We always complain, "Why don't good people get into politics", and then we pull shit like this, where you go after people's family, and you'd wonder why no one wants their family members running for office.

Except, not really. usually, the IRS uses that as a LAST resort, not a first one. After all, you can't pay your back taxes if you are in jail.
