One of the ones swatted over the holidays served Christmas cookies and refreshments to the swat guys. I thought that was cool. That would be my tact, also. Yeah, it is a decidedly dirty and dangerous tactic, not just a funny prank, as it can have consequences. In most places, probably less dangerous against the prominent and well known, but crap does happen. Some schmuck with a bad history, known to local police is the most dangerous situation. We've seen that turn out poorly. For normal people it is good to have a relationship with local authorities, for this and other reasons.
