I think the Dems knew this was going to come out during House hearings, so they decided to get in front of it and spin. Biden was never going to run in 2024 and was going to make Kamala the FBF President by resigning. Since a new VP must be approved by both Houses of Congress, it will have to be someone who would not run in 2024.Yeah, but it also gives dems time to catch up with a candidate without as much baggage. While I didn't think Biden was going to run again anyway, I would prefer him over a new and rising star because it would make 2024 an easier win for Republicans.
Right now I don't know of a Democratic showman who could win. Bernie is as good as they have and I doubt he is going to run. A dark horse candidate would have to come up from the back of the pack.I think that whoever leads the Dems, will ride on the party's successes. Those being accomplished under Biden's watch will only be coincidental.
The ticket to win for a candidate for president is going to be a very attractive public appearance with charisma. That is the measure of Trump's success in that he could run over his opposition in 16.
But he couldn't even run over a deadbeat senile old man such as Biden.
If the Dems can resist the temptation of running a smart candidate and run something of the nature of a showman like Reagan, they should win an easy victory against Trump or DeSantis.
America won't accept Bernie and his answers in social reform.Right now I don't know of a Democratic showman who could win. Bernie is as good as they have and I doubt he is going to run. A dark horse candidate would have to come up from the back of the pack.

Forgot about Newsome. He would be the one.America won't accept Bernie and his answers in social reform.
The Dems need a showman but also a very physically attractive one.
And moderate intelligence at least equal to Trump's 100+- IQ.
If I may risk saying, he will need to female half of the voters and so will have the ability to cause them to be moist.
And for the male half, he should at least own one gun.
That governor in California?
The R's had it close to right with Rick Perry, except he was dumb as a brick.
AND THERE IT IS.....
The string pulling powers that be have just made it clear.
You’re done Joe. Expect him to announce that he’s not running in 2024 at the SOTU Address.

Aides Admit Classified Doc Scandal to Impact Biden's 2024 Launch
White House aides have reportedly admitted the classified document scandal will impact President Joe Biden's expected 2024 campaign launch.www.breitbart.com
I see your 75 and lower it to 65.I don't want anyone over 75 running for POTUS.
I think he will run. I just hope we have choices and maybe not anointing due to position, and not just of some forgotten documents. I think the border and immigration reform are important enough for us as a country, to warrant other choices in that party, and yes, not to forget sheer age being a factor.
I'm not tied to a party if I can vote for someone I like who also has a reasonable expectation that they could win. I'm not going to just throw my vote away on someone who can't win, although I did do that in 2016 by writing in John Kasich. If someone I like runs and can actually win and they aren't an R or a D, then they have my vote. Manchin comes to mind. Unfortunately, the only ones who ever have a reasonable expectation of being able to win are either R's or D's and I'm not voting for a woke socialist agenda. And here you used to tell us you were not tied to a party.
You just outed yourself.
Bummer.Yes, your other "choice" will be Bernie Sanders, as usual. He'll drop out and endorse Biden ten seconds after he gets his payout.
I think maybe, but I don't know of the dirt that can be dug up.Forgot about Newsome. He would be the one.
that was easy...but sometimes do you think they're giving up one thing in order to hide something else. Old Carville/Clinton Tactic.
giving up Biden awful easily aren't they.

I am against socialism and wokeness. It needs to be destroyed at all possible costs. When democrats return to their pre-woke unsocialist behaviors, I could start voting for them again, such as Manchin. I'd be happy to vote for him. But, until that happens, even Trump is better than the woke socialists.Yet you want thing to be easier for one party to win. No Independent would ever post such a thing.
Did you seen the Manchin thread posted by Basque at 1:32 PM?I am against socialism and wokeness. It needs to be destroyed at all possible costs.
