In an unlikely race that could actually go to Republicans later this year, the Dem field just got thinned.
But it's totally just random chance that all these women suddenly surfaced at the same time over allegations a decade old to declare Swallwell's inherent unfitness to even run for office, let alone virtue signal from a mid-tier position within the Democrat apparatus.
But it is quite convenient to move toward a consolidation of the Left wing competition.
There are only two contenders in the Republican lane, and both need to hope the Democrats don't throw yet another candidate under the bus after this.
Next step?
Republican (FL) Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna is proposing a bill to have Swallwell excommunicated from the Senate.
And we may see some Democrats support it.
The moral of the story:
Democrats will do what they need to do - on the rare occasions they're able to recognize their own political interests.
