After playing the dashcam video back over at least three times, I can tell you this. Scott was walking backwards in a cautious manner, looking at the cops all the way. As soon as he passed the rear of that truck, the cops fired. There was no gun in his right hand. It looks as if he was trying to conceal what was in his left by backing out instead of walking forward.
