I think Mike Cohen really didn't want to testify, President Trump's team of high powered lawyers would make him look pretty fucking stupid, and Bragg may just be showing him mercy.

Cohen has changed his story so many times he may not even remember what he told to who.

He paid more than $130k to Cohen. But it was for legal fees. It is entirely possible that shitbag Cohen never told Trump about the NDA at all.

But even if he did and even if Trump knew and even if Trump knowingly repaid Cohen for fronting the NDA payment, as you say, none of that is criminal.

And it is a stupid stretch to insist that the NDA payment was a campaign contribution in kind.

Bragg also has to prove it was solely due to Trump running for office that he paid her off. The problem there is that rich people do this all the time. It woulda probably send most of the libs here into shock were they to discover that many of their heroes have banged porn stars and/or have NDAs with one or more women.

I don't see anywhere where Costello himself has admitted this. I suspect Greg Jarrett is full of shit or the context is hidden...like maybe the GJ didn't have those documents at that moment that Costello was there but have had access to them during the trial.

I will make a deal with you.

If it turns out that Bragg withheld 600 pages of documents AND the documents withheld were legally required for the jury to review and they never had access too them...

I will change my avatar to a Trump pic...not a bad one (like him picking nose or something) but just a regular picture of Trump, for a week. You have my word.
