Boston’s Mayor Wu: “Every single human being has the legal right to come to the United States and seek shelter”

In his wishes. We can’t even confer legal rights to non citizens
Under Democrats, illegal aliens and criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens. I don’t believe any country aside from the US would betray fellow citizens like Democrats have been doing for a decade.

Let's see your argument why it is.
Giving people shelter improves their well being.

Improving someone's well being is, itself, moral.

Therefore giving people shelter is moral.

What's sad is that adults exist who need to have this spelled out.

Wu is probably a Chinese spy.
Literally.
They've clearly taken over much of the Democrat Party.
What's so disturbing to me isn't just that Democrat leaders are spouting this incredibly stupid and highly dangerous nonsense.
It's that people actually vote for these morons. 1-party rule and look at where it's getting us.

Soon, all the Democrats will spout the same nonsense. And far too many Americans will nod in agreement.

When the far left took over the teachers colleges decades ago, the was their aim.

What is she basing this on? Where is that in the Constitution? What lies between her ears.

She is speaking of what should be. Just as I think every human has a right to Healthcare and food and shelter.
Well, that's a really nice thought. And completely absurd. You're a Communist. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I would love to see your attempt at arguing why that's morally incorrect.

So I can laugh hysterically.

It is morally wrong because it depends on spurious assumptions.

There is no moral obligation for the American taxpayer to assume the cost of shelter for 7.8 Billion potential refugees.

Providing shelter for any potential refugee comes at a cost that would adversely impact the current citizens whom the government has a moral obligation to protect which supersedes the needs of the rest of the world.

The argument for the entire world to come to America to seek shelter makes the assumption that every person is entitled to shelter provide by someone who has no fault in creating the circumstances of those seeking shelter.

The wording of the the claim states that people have the right to come here, and then seek shelter. It assumes they have the right to enter America before being assessed to their need. It provides Prima Facia claims that every person in the world is entitled to taxpayer funded shelter without being presented with evidence.

To a degree, yes. But not wide open borders. Come to ports of entry. And expand asylum eligibility and protected groups.

It still wouldn't give asylum to 100% of those who apply.
How is that not the case now? Why is there a need for asylum eligibility and who and what are “protected groups”?

Hmm, wonder if that would include 50,000 taliban, would she think they have a right as well?
