A border wall is a waste of time and money. It is something we can't afford and don't need. The American people overwhelmingly are opposed to it. That is why Trump's approval ratings are bad on immigration. Exit polls showed that a majority of the people were also opposed to the wall.

The Democrats have been adamant about preventing the construction of that wall. Therefore if they are winning then America and Americans are losing.

I am a Reagan conservative and am extremely proud of Ben Sasse. You claim to be a patriot yet you applaud of underhanded police tactics. You aree as patriotic as Nancy Pelosi. The fact is that if this was a ordinary person, this would not have been a felony. This is the Al Capone gambit. If you cannot get someone you want on something real then you find something ancillary. Capone was sentenced for his activities as a mobster not tax evasion. They clearly could not get this person on a major crime so they invented a major crime.
