Four individuals lost in the Jacumba Mountain Wilderness were out of options when they called 911 for help.

The four made the emergency call Thursday morning, shortly after 9:00 a.m.

The temperature was around 100-degrees and the terrain in that area is mountainous and extremely dangerous.

As temperatures in the Desert Southwest continue to rise, journeys like this will only get more dangerous.

Almost funny.

What a load of horseshit.
"They appeared to be in good health"
And they had a fuken cell phone?
They should have picked em up and headed right back across the border.

Right up until you realize how much that mission to save them cost the tax payers, to save four individuals who were breaking the law.
One of these assholes better be carrying the cure for Cancer or a Covid-19 vaccine to pay for their rescue and ensure they don’t end up mooching off the public dole...

otherwise, THEY SHOULD HAVE BEEN LEFT THERE TO DIE!!!!!!!!

Illegal immigrants have been getting lost in the Southwestern deserts for decades. The border patrol never gets enough credit for risking their own lives to save these people. Instead we get attention whore morons like AOC waltzing in with her camera crew screaming at the "Racist and Inhuman" border patrol.
