Right now, it is very early in the process, you are only talking a few weeks in to the process and it is still in the "extended Debate" phase, where R's and Gorsuch can try to win over the one or two Dems they need to break the filibuster/extended debate and bring the vote to the Senate for a vote.

It's a process...there are Senators like Feinstein that had some real concerns over Gorsuch answers or lack of answers in the hearings.....they could have more hearings with him or submit the questions they did not feel they got answers on by him, and get them...which could change a few of their minds, depending on his answers....
