"Peace through strength" does not work without the "strength" part. And "peace" does not mean NEVER getting into any military engagements, no matter what. In fact, for lasting peace, small engagements are most likely going to be necessary. When your adversaries fear you, you're doing something right.

Trump is the only president in the last 40 years that didn't get us into a prolonged war or keep us in one. The world fears us again, as the military superpower that we are. That's how you put America first.

Can you explain, since no liberal has been able to, why they fussed about Honda Henrietta for weeks being shot after protesting and running over an ICE agent with her car, but have been SILENT on the 50,000 murdered men, women and children by the Iranian regime for doing nothing but peacefully protesting? Trump told them stop killing protesters or their will be hell to pay. They kept killing, tens of thousands in fact, and have said they will not get rid of their ballistic missile program. We never declared war on Iraq, either. For some reason, when a republican is in office, democrats default to "no military action without a declaration of war." When a democrat is president, war declarations are not needed, nor even mentioned.

I have to be honest here, I believe the entire world would be better off without the Iranian regime, and mostly benefiting it's own oppressed people.

But hell, the US is broke along with the rest of the world, and no doubt something more sinister would just take it's place at some point.

But then I look at places like South Korea. What if the US had not freed them? The average South Korean is about 3 feet higher than North Koreans, because North Korea has been starved to death for decades, along with the world oppression in pretty much any regime in the world

My issue is that I haven't heard any real plans on what to do AFTER you topple the regime. I'm just worried this will be another Iraq, where the war was really short but the aftermath took decades.

The warmongers always tell us it will be short and sweet and not cost the taxpayer much at all. 10 trillion USD later we have to abandon these places and leave behind hundreds of millions of military equipment for them.
