Boeing 777 crash-lands at San Francisco Airport

I just flew Asiana Airlines a few months ago. Great plane. Who is reporting fatalities? No news source I can see is reporting this. This is a real shame. So close to home too.

I would have to think the tanks had to be close to being depleted after 10 hours of flight time. I would think that would have kept the fire from being as severe.

whether accurate or not, I don't know, but I heard that 2 died and 61 injured.

casualties and fatalities usually fluctuate until the situation settles down, but that is what I've been hearing on the news right now.

The Boieng workers did their job though. made one hell of a plane....

I'm hearing all sort of explanations...landing short is not one of them other than that emotional dude watching with his G/F,,,,which in itself is odd...I thought everybody out that way was gay.

Obabble has been advised...will issue statement to the affect that "there will be bumps on the runway"....

Those 777s are a sweet ride. Flew from DFW to LAX on one. Never crash landed in one though!
