I agree, making a big deal out of nothing. Perhaps any new schools built should contain an inner open courtyard for play area that is protected. I think he's saying that kids outside are unsafe, and I agree. A gunman (or woman, or whatever) can just approach the playground and shoot. But I am still opposed to eliminating recess because our children NEED to move outside. There are other methods to keep them safe.

It means that some people are happy to keep kids locked up in schools, no outdoor recess, at ages 4-5-6 for up to eight hours a day because THEY FEEL their gun rights might be infringed. In other words, rather than have gun rights threatened, let's lock up our kids.

Jesus notes there were those made that way. He also notes there were those "born that way".
