Guy laid out by LA Rams player during game is animal rights activist who charged the field to protest trial against two people who 'rescued' pigs from Smithfield Foods farm​

• Animal rights activist Alex Taylor invaded the field during Monday Night Football with a purple flare
• Taylor managed to evade security staff and started to charge up field before being tackled by LA Rams linebacker Bobby Wagner
• Taylor is a member of the group Direct Action Everywhere
• The protest was designed to draw attention to the trial of two members of the group in Utah, where they are accused of stealing pigs
• Taylor's partner in crime, Allison Fluty, also attempted to enter the field but was tackled by security
• 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan said after his team was victorious: 'I saw Bobby Wagner take somebody out. That was kind of cool to see'

Wrong.
First of all, "streakers" are naked, so this is not a "streaker".
Second is that this was NOT a "tackle", since with a "tackle" you just grab the other person.
This was a blindsided body check to the head and upper body, which is extremely dangerous.
It was the use of deadly force against someone who was not violating the rights of anyone.
So the body check was illegal use of excessive force.
It is the player who committed a crime, not the protestor.
