Convicted murderers should be put to death.

This would eliminate any basis for worrying about whether one lives near them.

My old plumber was a murderer (2nd degree).....I had him on my field unit for a couple years till he made parole.....Best plumber we ever had.

When he got out he started his own plumbing business.....He named it Duck's Plumbing, which was his prison nickname.

He sold the business before he passed to My Plumber.

With murder being as bad as it is, if a person is released from prison for whatever reason, then yes, they should be registered.

The reason they register sex offenders is because it is a permanent sexual compulsion. Serial killers might be included in the compulsion class but they aren't likely to ever be released.
