In fairness, it is impossible to understand a case in a vacuum.

As an example, I heard that there was a case against against an American citizen and he was arrested based on your border guards saying that he pushed the guard violently.

The DOJ was pursuing this case and then there was video released for which the guard probably didn't realize existed and in fact, it was the guard who pushed the American citizen.

Here is what I believe. If you break a core Commandment and bear false witness in a courtroom there should be little to no deviation from consequences for the person lying to try and put someone in prison, especially if a person is in authority if they purposely lie. It's just disgusting.

If no video had been present, what would the outcome have been? Based on a lie.

So, headlines are not good in critical cases whether it's Donald Trump being targeted in a witch hunt in NY or a court case against a legitimate crime which occurred.

Details always matter. This is why we rely on judges to follow the law, the facts and hopefully their oath.
