Blue Bloods

P.S. So, Sean is graduating NYU. I'm proud of him! What is Jack up to these days? Another question that I have concerns Detective Baez. She admits to something that she did when she was still in school. My question is how far did she go with her choice of words/activity? I'm asking because whatever she is guilty of, I am sure it is nothing compared to what is done now.
 
Well, we are winding down to the final episode, I think, and although I have enjoyed this show for its entire run, I have no regrets.

If the show were going forward, it appears that they would be allowing Erin and her Ex to get back together, in one way or another. I always thought he was a good addition to the plot, although he would not be welcome at the Sunday dinners, possibly taking Erin away from that weekly tradition.

So will Sean announce that he is getting into law enforcement after graduation? If the show were real life, it would probably be as a Techie, and not a uniformed police officer.

I find it interesting that the consumption of adult beverages, in moderation, is a constant sub-theme of the show, which is rare these days. Anyone having a drink is presumed to have a "drinking problem."
 
I hate the way that tonight's finale started, but I am so glad that Eddie was spared considering the news that she shared at the end.

P.S. What Danny had to say about kids learning more from their dad's actions compared to their words couldn't have been said better.
 
There is going to be a spin-off called Boston Blue with Danny having moved to Boston according to today's entertainment news.

P.S. At the end of the show, when a preview for the next new episode was put out there, it was said that it wouldn't be shown until March 2nd. Why are we having to wait so long, especially when new episodes are normally shown all through the current month?

P.S. Even though the show came to an end before Christmas, certain networks show the old episodes on their stations: the ION network, the Up network, the Sundance network, and the WE network I believe show the old episodes. The News Nation network may still show it too, but I am not sure.

/—-/ I loved the show from episode one, but it had run its course. All good things must come to an end.
 
^^^ A Blue Bloods spin off is going to be starting in the fall this year and Danny will be a leading character. He will live in Boston, Massachusetts. The big question is why does he leave New York?

They're Irish!

Looking forward to seeing if the spin off is any good. It will be tough to assemble as good a casting of characters as Blue Bloods had. His 'son' from the BB series will be there too.

Two of the writers worked on Blacklist so it looks good so far.

so far it looks like blue bloods was just too white so they are adding some color

wasn't there already a cop show that was based in boston already?

Why not? Can't find the plot line, but maybe Danny gets offered a promotion or a girlfriend who lives there, who knows until the pilot? His 'son' is also going to be a cop there, so not everybody is left behind.

Is his partner going to be ethnic? His partner in NYC was hispanic.

yes she was but the rest of the cast was white, I don't recall any black characters, now they would feature blacks in the story

why would boston give danny a promotion, he's just another detective and per the show danny never really had a girlfriend after his wife died
danny has two boys and either look like they would make great cops really

not sure I see this spin off as being a hit
