Blue Bloods

Tonight's show was good although, I hated how Erin's situation turned out. I was glad that Jamie let Joe Jr. know what truly happened to the car that belonged to Joe Sr. It was also good to see Joe Jr. ask about Jamie's mom. When Sean got to where that girl was being robbed, I thought that he was going to take a swing at the perpetrator, but when he ended up getting slashed, I was like, "You would think that he'd know some self-defense with his dad being a cop and all."

God bless you always!!!

Getting to hear Jamie and Eddie remember their vowels after five years of marriage in my opinion was a great way to end tonight's episode. :) :) :)

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. I also loved hearing Henry and Frank trying to sing "Amazing Grace" at the end of the church scene. :D :D :D

^^^ Sorry, I meant to say vows. :D :D :D

Tonight's show was good, and it was cool to see Jamie give the car to Joe Jr.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. To me, Eddie and Jamie should've adopted that girl.

I like that car. I remember the episode with the movie car from Bullit. lol

I like Blue Bloods, but in my eyes, Tom Selleck will always be Magnum (PI).

I like the Quigley movie as well. He's a solid screen personality.

Tonight's show was good! The closing scene reminded me of an earlier episode where it was said that even when all of the right things are done, things can still go badly. Lt. Cooper still could've ended up in hot water later on if he had been arrested due to what was already on his plate. The stress of having a terminally ill wife never would've gone away and so anything could've happened with him still even if he had gone to jail.

I couldn't help but smile at the last thing that Erin said to her lady boss. My only question is if the middle finger was being used at all during their situation, who's hand was it on?

I love how Jamie's matter ended too. Those three guys who stood with him, what made them think that they weren't being studied by certain members of their family?

The dinner scene only reminded me of the song named "Bring My Flowers Now" from country lady legend Tanya Tucker.

God bless you and Miss T always!

Holly (a fan of her since 1991)

Does anyone else here watch this show? Last night's episode was really good. I am glad that girl was going to be cleared of her assault charge once her community service was done. I felt bad for her. It was either she be pounded or her teacher. To me, what the principal ended up doing actually made some sense. Speaking to them students in the only language that they understand is exactly what should've been done because when you multiply a positive times a negative, what do you get? Not a positive, but you will get a positive when you multiply a negative times a negative.

God bless you always!!!

P.S. At the end of the show, when a preview for the next new episode was put out there, it was said that it wouldn't be shown until March 2nd. Why are we having to wait so long, especially when new episodes are normally shown all through the current month?
A good series that has run too long. Tom Selleck will be 80 in January and he looks it and acts it. The cast is good but they need to move on after over a decade in this family of cops. Despite the fact that the show is clearly racist and sexiest, and at time times a bit fascist, I found myself liking it. The characters are well developed and the scripts are good and the shows manages to still be exciting, but after 14 years, it's time to hang it up.

^^^ What is it in your opinion that makes it racist and sexist?

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. I wouldn't call it racist when several different nationalities have been acknowledged in it.

Many people who like Blue Bloods won’t understand that the actions of the NYPD are systemically racist and sexist Yet the series emphasized that any such behavior is exceptional. However, only in recent years have police depts. began to make any real change.

The other problem I have with the series is that it reduces serious social problems to nothing but sound bites. The constant battle between the commissioner and community "liberal" organizers and other so called do-gooders leads audience to believe that the police are battling the forces for social changes in the intercity which is not true. Every major police department in the country is well aware that crime is inseparable linked to social problems in the community; that is, we can not effective reduce crime without dealing with the root causes, homelessness, drug and alcohol addiction, mental illness, poor parenting, and poverty.

Tonight's show was good, but sad due to the way that things went for the case that Danny and Detective Baez were focused on. The big question is, what ends up happening to that man? I am glad that Eddie's situation ended in a good way. The girl who was in the hospital bed, I remember her dad from episode ten of season four. The only thing is that he has a different name this time. He looked much better during tonight's show, but of course, it is because he wasn't walking around with a busted nose this time. The situation concerning Henry and Erin was funny, but in my opinion, it makes both him and Frank look bad. To me, it sounds like the man on trial should've been removed from the NYPD photograph a long time ago. Is Lori Loughlin going to be in the next episode? I think that I saw her when the preview was shown. If that was her, will she be the same character that she was in the season seven opener? Her character name then was Grace Edwards.

God bless you and Lori always!!!

Anyone who likes Sellick's character in Blue Bloods or him generally should check out the Jesse Stone films, which are available on several streaming services. He basically plays the same person in a different situation. I find them entertaining.

The first one filmed was "Stone Cold." 2005

Tonight's show was great, but it would've made sense to me if Danny had accepted that award. With Linda being gone now, why not take whatever he can still get his hands on? Was she the reason why the medal of valor was not important to him in season five?

God bless you always!

Holly

Tonight's show was so good! Eddie's last scene couldn't have been better, and I thought for that one second that Danny had gotten shot and then what happened just seconds later couldn't have been more awesome! :) :) :)

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. Sid was able to keep his job, right?

Tonight's show was good. The interesting thing is that the actor who portrayed the guy that gets help from Erin was in the season five episode named Forgive and Forget. :) :) :)

God bless you and him and the rest of the cast always!!!

Holly

P.S. Next Friday at 9 PM EST, a special about the show and its fourteen years on the air will be shown. :) :) :)
