There's a valid reason most Jews in the US are Dem.

+2

The liberal Jews in Israel are nothing like the American liberal Jews, but they live in a different neighborhood while American liberal Jews are disproportionately concentrated in the Northeast.

That was then, but this is now and the demographics are very dynamic at this moment in time.

Of course not. But he IS an example of leftist Jews putting their love of Marxism and socialism ahead of any concern with having antisemites in power.
Schumer's more an example of mindless support of genocide.

Hell Lisa, the last US country clubs to admit Jews were in the 1980's.
Augusta..home of the Masters, ya know~

Hating Jews is literally baked into Western culture, with a 2,000 year long track record.
It has ALWAYS been possible..and often mandatory--to hate and deride Jews.
You can see centuries-old anti-Jewish memes used right in this thread, right?

Shylock lives~

BTW..historically, the most virulent anti-Jew actions came from the Right...with the Country-club Republicans quietly black-listing Jewish applicants.

That’s the old claim that the antisemitism is mostly from the Left. That’s no longer true. IRL, and on this website, 90% or so of the hate is coming from the Left.

It sure isn’t Republicans marching around chanting Death to Jews, and it isn’t conservative college presidents unwilling to condemn it, and it isn’t conservative campuses setting up New Jew Zones, and it isn’t the Republicans voting for someone with a Nazi tattoo on his chest. That is ALL on the Democrat side.

I've seen enough. Some of you have clearly forgotten what ZONE 1 means. Allow me to educate you.

The next instance of namecalling I see here will see the thread locked and the offender sent on a 5 day vacation. Clear?

Seems to me the whiny point has been made, and all that's left is another gefilte fish fight...Why not just close it?

Because nobody but you GAF.

Get over it and get over yourself.
You are adding nothing to this thread. So stop it, or get a well-deserved ban.

Templar said to stop the nasty name-calling and attacks.

As for this website..well, I note a fair amount of non-liberal antisemitism, from some of the usual Board loons--I also note that not supporting Israel is not, de facto, antisemitism.
Of course, why you don't support Israel may indeed be antisemitic, hard to tell sometime, given the tacit approval for Jew-bating in some parts of our culture.

I imagine it depends on whether you see political opposition as an expression of cultural bigotry--which indeed, it is presented as just that, by some.

IRL? I run into very little antisemitism..save for the little cultural cliches that linger..'Jewing' someone down to get a good deal and such nonsense. We will never eliminate cultural stereotyping, IMO.

Has any mod addressed your original problem yet?
Yes, actually. I am working with him via DM and we think we have it solved. Once it’s verified, the thread can be closed.

Quite sad that this thread turned into another anti-Jew hate fest.

Are you Jewish?

There is a LOT of antisemitism around here - a very liberal area. The closer you get to the Muslim concentrations, the worse it gets. There have been calls of “Death to Jews” at the local high school, swastikas painted on the wall, some really bad anti-Jew bullying incidents, we’ve been warned not to wear our Star of David in public, and we have armed security at services.
