Well, the shop called and said the "coin guy" dropped off a bunch of stuff and he asked if I could help him out getting it sorted and checked in.

Of course I rushed there being the buzzard I am. ;)

He had brought in around 20 guns, swords, knives, ammo and such.

I came home with a few blades and guns.

Benchmade Axe.....Goodness knows the value on this one.....There two on eBay now at 2K a pop. :disbelief:

Tru-Bal Bowie Axe.....Around $300.00 (they were a PX item in Vietnam)

NIB Brusletto (Norwegian) hunting knife. (that one will go to the G-Grandson)....About $140.00

I also picked up a old .22 single-shot target pistol. No idea who made that one, being researched now.

I got a pretty decent 30s era Crescent Peerless SXS 20 gauge shotgun and a very distressed Remington 1100 too.

This is my latest purchase. Perfect for breaking down slabs of sirloin, etc., etc..
6" Western Beef Skinner. Really useful and forgiving belly on it.

Sigh, I did what I could with the Remington 1100.

Some dumb shit put it in a Choate tactical stock. The 30" barrel was mashed on the end so I cut it off to 18.75", re-beaded it, and replaced the O-ring. It should run fine.

It will make a good HD shotgun for someone I guess.

At least the Peerless SXS is still in nice shape.
