Do you understand what systemic means? It means intrinsic of the system. Even if this quote was actually from somebody, it's one person which is hardly systemic at all. Even if you could find 10% of people that held the same views, it's still not systemic. Systemic would mean there were laws protecting these practices when in fact, it's just the opposite.

But your quote is suspicious. If this guy did what he said he did, why was he never challenged by any minority? After all, if any company hires a white person over a black with the same credentials, that company would be liable for his actions. He would also be prosecuted by the federal government. Making claims you or others in the black community cannot get ahead because every white person is racist is an excuse. This is especially true given how many other blacks did just fine by making the right decisions in life or taking advantage of a talent they have. The plight of the black community is one they brought on themselves, not some white racist.

Bottom line is everybody makes mistakes, but if you blame other people for those mistakes, you learn nothing and will never get ahead that way. Even when I did have obstacles in my life such as my health, it was up to me to find a way around them. I lived by my own motto that I don't have problems, I have challenges. Trump fought to have his Stay in Mexico policy. He told Mexico if they want to continue to get US aid, they had better stop the flow of illegals from their bordering countries getting to ours. Mexico sent out their military to their southern border to make sure those people stayed out of Mexico. He created the apply at your US embassy policy. If you want asylum, fine. Go to the US embassy in your country and apply for it. Don't come here and do it. If you do somehow make it to our border and we find out you were offered asylum in another country such as Mexico and refused it, you will be automatically disqualified from getting US asylum. If you are a pregnant woman applying for a VISA, forget about it. You're not coming here to drop anchor babies.

I don't have a business, I'm a landlord. It's a business but I don't have employees. My handyman is black, my exterminator was black but I think he went out of business, and I've had black tenants. When I need repairs I can't do or no longer do, I don't care what race the person is. If they can do the job for a reasonable price, that's all I care about. I will hire them over a higher priced white guy.

You do need to understand what systemic means. Systemic's root word is system, and racial discrimination is not in our system in the US. We have dozens of laws against it. Will there be some who still practice discrimination, yes, but again, that's not part of the system.
