BLM - like other groups such as the Tea Party can't control individuals. What they can do is make clear their platform and what they will and will not tolerate. They've repeatedly repudiated and condemned violence including the violent targeting of police.

In terms of the treatment of blacks by police - they have as much right to their opinion and to voice it and support their cause as anyone else - short of violence. That is not racist.
