The window between "getting my drink on" and the 2pm next day wake up.

As I belatedly checked the calendar, and someone astutely pointed out previously, the third isn't until Monday.

My LEO retirement was planned before the full brunt of Obamacare ******* up private insurance took hold. So I took a little no responsibility job at a local chain grocery store for the insurance coverage, worked enough hours a week to qualify and it was all good.

So, more than once one of the cashiers would print up a dupe receipt after one of the grifters checked out their first of the month haul and we would play a guessing game on what the balance on their card was (yes it displays so the customer knows what they have left) and it was not unusual for the remaining balance to be $2k -$3k. Once, and only once, did I see one for just over $5k. This after the carts were loaded with seafood - crab legs, salmon, whole tenderloins, cases of soft drinks, and all of the high calorie and zero nutrition Hostess products available.

The end of the month was also a busy time as they would come in to clear their balances before the cards were re-loaded.

The pattern was the same whether it be Shanequa and Lemongelo, Juanita and Perfecto, or Patricia Ann and Bobby Joe Methhead.

I don't know, and don't care how the process worked that awarded such ridiculous benefit levels. All I can testify to is that it happened.
