We tortured a bunch of innocent farmers, children, grandparents and reporters … supposedly to get information about Bin Laden. But it doesn’t seem like the government (Democrats or Republicans) was very interested in actually interrogating Bin Laden himself.
If we captured and interrogated (NOT TORTURED) him, it would stand to reason that he could have spilled a lot of beans which would help prevent future terrorist attacks. Maybe the greatest, and most heavily defended nation on Earth, would have finally been able to solve the mystery of HOW the planes WERE ABLE TO FLY UNMOLESTED for so long, over its airspace, hit 75% of their targets, demolishing 3 massive skyscrapers using only 2 planes, while suspending laws of physics in the process of doing so.
The US should have been very interested in speaking to Alqaeda physics experts who assisted OBL, in the panning and execution of the attacks.
