I think most people in his circle see a different side of him than the public portrayal the media reports on. (For the record, I don't trust the media, whose job is turn the volume up to 10 on every story). Listen to Maher describe his experience, it was, on a personal level, a positive one. Trump was not the person he thought he'd find when he spoke with him.

All in all not the best we could have hoped for, but also far from the worst.

The Democrats lack two crucial elements of being successful: Leadership and a message that people want to hear. If Democrats thought that message was transgender rights for children then the entire apparatus of the Democratic Party needs to be disassembled and incinerated.

It's not even the message here that I am attacking, it is the philosophy and leadership who thought this would somehow resonate with normal, ordinary people who make a majority of voters. This mindset is so disconnected it reveals inherent flaws that cannot be repaired.

The market just had the most volatile week in history, not the best one. Wednesday saw one of the best single day gains, but only because of short covering.....and because it had gone down so much in the wake of Dotard's idiotic "liberation day" announcement. The tariffs was a major move, OBVIOUSLY they were going to cause market fluctuations.
