Afghanistan was the good war that Obama had a surge, then after more casualties than GWB admitted it was a failure.

Don't know. Don't care. Lincoln's emancipation proclamation was blatantly unconstitutional. Besides, Bush told us that the constitution is just a piece of paper. These days, nobody knows what is constitutional, and what is not, since the republicans have made it clear they they have no intention of replacing SC justices for the next year, which means that the GOP has successfully shut down congressional actions AND SC actions. I guess that I shouldn't complain. The GOP can not even get along with each other, so we have congressional deadlock, instead of a congress dominated by a single GOP agenda. As for the supreme Court, well they can't get anything done with 4 to 4 vote ties, either. We have already seen the GOP try to defund and shut down the government twice. I guess that the only government that we have left is executive orders.
