U.S. Corporate Media Blackout On Bilderberg Meeting

Paul Joseph Watson
Prison Planet
Saturday, June 7, 2008

Ben Bernanke, Condoleezza Rice, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton amongst a host of other global power brokers have all convened in Chantilly Virginia to secretly discuss the future of the world - yet not one mainstream U.S. corporate media outlet has uttered a single word about the 2008 Bilderberg conference.

http://www.infowars.com/?p=2576

Alex Jones bullhorns Bilderberg in an attempt to bring attention to the scene of the crime in Chantilly Virginia, but the corporate media refuses to report on a secret meeting of over 125 of the global power elite.

Bilderbergers seem to enjoy visiting the U.S. because they can be assured that in the "land of the free," the American "free press" are certain to follow orders and not print even a puff piece about a confab of over 125 of the globe’s most influential movers and shakers.

A Google News search on "Bilderberg," which is now in its third day, returns 47 results, all of which consist of reprints from this website and a smattering of other alternative media reports, in addition to a few snippets out of the Netherlands and Turkey.

Compare that to a Google News search about "G8" and you’ll get over 4,000 results a month before Bilderberg’s sister conference has even begun.

Even if you accept the ludicrous claim of the debunkers - that Bilderberg is a mere "talking shop" that contributes nothing towards actual policy - do you still not think it odd that not one mainstream U.S. press outlet has even mentioned it in passing?

A mere book signing by an ex-politician would generate at least a few headlines, yet we have dozens of CEO’s, European and Federal Reserve banking and finance kingpins, Prime Ministers, European royalty, NSA officials, professors from top Universities, NATO and UN officials, oil company chairmen, and foreign policy luminaries meeting behind closed doors and yet not one single U.S. media report! Not one!

Take a look at the list and think how many headlines each of these individuals generates in just one day - some of them can barely pick their nose without it being reported on - yet we have over 125 of them meeting together during the same 3 day period and the silence is deafening!

As oil prices continue to skyrocket wildly out of control towards Bilderberg’s stated goal of $200, hitting a whopping $139 a barrel yesterday, the contention that Bilderberg is somehow unworthy of coverage is completely asinine.

On every front, from the timing of the Iraq war to the selection of presidential candidates’ running mates in 2004 and 2008, to the economy - Bilderberg sets the agenda and the future pans out exactly as they had planned.

The outright complicity of the corporate media in blackballing Bilderberg coverage reminds us why the elite encounter little hindrance in conspiring in such a secretive and undemocratic manner every single year without facing any substantial public scrutiny.

because fox news is not the only source of information.. because there are real journalist ...still doing real investigative journalism

so it is not a secret and the media is reporting it and we know who is going and where it is and what they will be talking about....thank god for a second there i thought something secret was taking place....

The only secret meeting I've heard about was the one between Clinton and Obama, how the media cried because they weren't invited.

Conspiracy of Silence: Corporate Media Refuses to Cover Bilderberg Confab

Kurt Nimmo

According to the foundation owned and controlled libs, "the perpetuation of the myth that groups such as Biliderberg are all-powerful is a political distraction" and "a right-wing anti-communist conspiracy theory," never mind that David Rockefeller, Bilderberg heavyweight, has admitted an internationalist conspiracy to control the world. "If that is the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it," Rockefeller writes on page 405 of his memoir.

Fire up the Google News search engine and enter “Bilderberg” and check out the results. Not one corporate media source — not the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post, et al — deemed it appropriate to mention, even in passing, the 56th Bilderberg meeting in Chantilly, Virginia, this week. The American Friends of Bilderberg, described as “an offshoot Bilderberg front group that has accepted donations from the Ford Foundation to fund Bilderberg meetings” and “a secretarial outpost through which Bilderberg conferences are organized,” issued a press release this year, but the corporate media did not follow-up. Surprisingly or not, few so-called “alternative” media sources mentioned it, either.

Raw Story, WorldNetDaily, Gather, the American Chronicle, the Canada Free Press, the American Free Press, and the Moderate Voice covered the story. Of course, Prison Planet and Infowars covered the story in depth. In Istanbul, the Turkish Daily News ran a story, reporting Turkey’s Foreign Minister Ali Babacan was in attendance, along with a handful of Turkish politicians and business leaders. Radio Netherlands reported that Dutch Prime Minister Jan Peter Balkenende would attend “the highly secretive annual meeting of the world’s most influential people,” but left it at that.

I think I see your name encoded in that post ...:eusa_eh:

Some of you don't at least wonder WHY all these important people from all over the world meet once a year without any MSM coverage of what they talked about?

Not really. Just like I don't wonder what goes on at Corporate board meetings of VERY important Businesses.

It is not secret, it is common knowledge. They do not hide they are meeting, nor who will attend, nor does it appear they hide their agenda either. Well except to delusional loons like EOTS.

of our Republic is the invisible government which like a giant octopus sprawls its slimy legs over our cities, states and nation. At the head is a small group of banking houses... This little coterie...run our government for their own selfish ends. It operates under cover of a self-created screen...seizes...our executive officers...legislative bodies...schools...
courts...newspapers and every agency created for the public protection.”

BILDERBERG SOCIETY: KISSINGER LAYS BARE THE WORLD GOVERNMENT PLAN

“Today Americans would be outraged if UN troops entered Los Angeles to restore order; tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told there was an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence.

It is then that all people of the world will plead with world leaders to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished
for the guarantee of their well being granted to them by their world government.”
- Henry Kissinger

I just returned from the Super-Secret Bilderberg meeting in Orlando.

I'll tell ya, I think Obama will be a good President, since we picked him, but he sure is a wuss. He was too chicken to go on Space Mountain. You should have seen Cheney making fun of him as we all got on the roller coaster while Barack just stood there sipping his decaf, skim, sugar-free latte.

The Logan Act is a United States federal law that forbids unauthorized citizens from negotiating with foreign governments. It was passed in 1799 and last amended in 1994. Violation of the Logan Act is a felony, punishable under federal law with imprisonment of up to three years.

The text of the Act is broad and is addressed at any attempt of a US citizen to conduct foreign relations without authority. However, there is no record of any convictions or even prosecutions under the Logan Act.[1][2]
