This is further proof there is no such thing as global warming, would we really be getting a snowstorm like this in November if the planet was warming? I don't think so!

Brrrrrrrrrr! 8 to 12" where you are. Good luck, up there.

Another normal winter? Damn.

I am pretty disappointed in Global Warming.
Too damn slow.

Call me when Palms are growing on the beaches of Duluth and I will celebrate with a Mai Tai.

This kind of weather is near certainty in the warmer world ...

More snow fell in the middle of October in 1984 ... and on Monday Night Football ... {two minutes of highlights} ...

"Mother Nature had an interesting plan for the 200th broadcast of Monday Night Football, and definitely wanted to challenge the Broncos and the Packers. In attendance were 62,546 brave souls, who endured blizzard conditions. The nation watched live as professional football players struggled to play the game while wind and snow wreaked havoc. Fans had trouble seeing the players on the field. Broadcasters did the best they could with their limited visibility as well. The Broncos won the game by a final score of 17 to 14, with 14 of the Broncos’ points coming from their defense in the first minute of the game. The other three Denver points came on a crucial field goal in the first half from barefooted kicker, Rich Karlis. All of Green Bay’s points came in the second half." -- NWS -- n.d. ...

Yeah, I just texted my kids to remind them that the Global Warmists said they would never see snow.....hahahahahHAHAHAHAHA

Better you than Me, but I have a sinking feeling I may see a portion of that.

Be prepared up there, have warm clothes, candles, and a shovel stored in your Prius in case you get stuck in a snowdrift.

You're half right.
I drive a Toyota, but a 5.7 Tundra TRD Offroad. I actually look forward to driving in snow.
The Prius drivers make up for my horrible MPG.;)

Pretty normal for this time of year.

They claim we might get something this coming Tuesday but with all the weather doom mongering that goes on these days, who knows. 😐

I know someone who drove to Moline today, and is driving back tonight on I-74. Moline sits right next to Rock Island Arsenal, on the Mississippi river, right where it says 10-14" of blowing snow. The winds are 30 to 40 mph where I live right now.

Some people just don't have much sense, I told them it was a bad idea, but since they weren't driving, they decided to go. I said pack warm clothes while waiting for the tow truck.

I believe a more accurate judgement of the situation would be told through size of the polar ice caps.

You mean the ones that a former Vice President said would be "Ice Free" within 5 years?

Those ice caps?

Gee, that prediction was made in 2006, which makes five years 2011. Here we are at the tail end of 2025, and the Arctic ice cap is no closer to vanishing than it was almost two decades ago.

Not sure what you are referencing. I can't recall ever caring about what politicians, former and current, have to say about a lot of things. Science stuff being one of them.

15th post
My mom sent me some pictures of the snow she got out in Iowa. It was a bit over 12''.

It was pretty.

All we ever get here is freezing rain and ice. I think the Bay messes any chance of good snow up. Of course, that's just an uneducated guess. But 10 miles north and they get snow out the wazoo while we only get the slush and the ice.

I do believe climate change is exaggerated by the media, but you’re exposing your ignorance by confusing weather and climate

They’re two different things
