This is why I love DeSantis and Abbott. They got tired of all of these Democrats in the North spewing their crap about tolerance for illegals and declaring themselves Sanctuary Cities. The Bill passed. A bill that completely exempts agriculture from having to have to do even the fake check.


But influential business groups --- some of them major GOP donors --- have been pushing back against the proposal, just like they did in past years. Sen Victor Torres, D-Orlando, sympathized with businesses and argued an E-Verify mandate would hurt the state’s economy. “Many businesses are having difficulty finding workers to fill the jobs that are currently vacant. This bill would further limit their employment choices, which could be disastrous to our state economy,” Torres said Tuesday before voting against the proposal.

Florida is never going to do anything about the illegals working there. As I've noted many times, he wouldn't ship people out of Florida, he went to Texas to do that.

We here in Texas need to get busy and get that $5 mil up to $30 mil+where it belongs. Busses don't hold nearly enough criminals; we need to start using 52 foot trailers and hauling a lot more per load. There are man more 'sanctuary cities' who need to be inclusive as well.
