Just like Biden told lifetime coal miners that they need to learn to code...

And he promised "future plans" to retrain Keystone XL pipeline workers who are still out of work...

John Kerry also celebrates less jobs for Americans in the name of Green Energy, which somehow seems to be more important than employing Americans...

Are oil, gas and coal jobs growing as fast as green jobs?

Silly question. As you know, Biden is laying off fossil fuel workers. The growth of energy sector jobs has a lot to do with administration policies.

He also laid off, Day One, American workers who were building a paid-for border wall intended to protect us from things like Biden's self-inflicted calamity. Instead, US taxpayers get to pay thousands of dollars to house and provide for illegal aliens.

Affordable energy is key for prosperity of Americans, particularly America's poor. Neither wind nor solar can compete with the economics or availability of fossil fuels, hydro, and nuclear power.

Solar doesn't produce at night or with snow. Wind is extremely intermittent and unreliable. Adding energy storage for these sources virtually doubles cost, and decreases efficiency. So, you still nedd to build the "backup" plants, which are really the "baseload" plants.

If you build the baseload plants, there is no need to build the unreliable and intermittent ones.

The only reason these forms are being built is because of government subsidies. When the subsidies like the production tax credit are cut, new construction quickly grinds to a halt.

And then there was Texas.

I think the Keystone pipeline should have been allowed to proceed. That was a mistake by Biden.

But the renewable energy industry is absolutely booming. The amount of capital going into it is massive.

Until they price traditional standby power out of the market at which point people will be crying that they can't charge their cellphones until the sun comes out.

By the way, a tremendous amount of this boom is being driven by corporations like Amazon and Google that want grid credits from where it is cheap to build solar farms to pay electric bills in places like California where electric prices are outrageous.

The amount of capital going into it is all your tax dollars. There is very little investment in that industry by people making a better product than what fissile fuels can provide for much less. If we were to remove all tax incentives and tax breaks to all energy providers who would win the energy war?
