Biden Tests The Old Adage If You Lie About Something Enough People Will Believe It

,,,because the FED had rates near zero. It wasn't the "cash for clunkers" program, or the Solyndra fiasco, that created those jobs.

And it remained near zero for most of Trump's term. So it was the federal fund rate, and not Trump's policies, which get the credit for job growth?

Don't just look at the unemployment rate. Also look at the participation rate. Trump's was ascending. Biden's isn't. Rewarding people NOT to work is a bad idea.

WTF are you talking about? The last 2 years show a clear increase in labor force participation.

Trump took office, LFP rate was 62.8%. It got as high as 63.3% before pandemic. Trump raised it 0.5%.

When Biden took office, it was 61.3%, now it's 62.4%. Biden raised it 1.1%.

Data, my friend. Look at it. It's available on this website:

They're picking and choosing when they want to use seasonally adjusted or not seasonally adjusted numbers.

We always gain a lot of temporary jobs in before Christmas and lose them in January.

So the economy laid off 2.5 million jobs, but that's because we added those millions of jobs in the leadup to Christmas, but they were seasonally adjusted so taht they were never reported in the jobs number.

For example, the seasonally adjusted report in October said we gained 300k jobs. In actuality, we gained 1.2 million jobs.

We seasonally adjust so that these expected temporary jobs don't throw us all off.

And it was still the best January since 1995...

Participation rate is influenced by retirees...in particular retiring baby boomers.

That is why the participation rate has been dropping for decades.

What do you think contributed to the participation rate?

Exactly right and totally apparent when you spend any time looking at the data with any more specificity.

If you look at the data by age, you see that the participation rate for each age category is about the same as it was 10 years ago. The difference is that the population is shifting from categories with high participation rates to categories with low participation rates.

It was probably more low interest rates since Trump's policies would take time to have an effect.
Look at the 2021 Chips Act. It takes years to build facilities here in the US.
Trump's policies by Navarro & Lightheizer are still being pursued, like the Chips Act. Trump had to try to jawbone companies to build here. Not an easy sell.
We need to bring back critical manufacturing so we're not as dependent on China for everything.

There's more....feel free to apologize for your triggered false accusation.

Why is this NOT reported on FoxNews.

You can only find the "SPIN" on RW hack websites.
Your data is pure SPIN.

The desperation of the right to deflect against any good news for Biden is palpable.

IMHO the participation rate is NOT affected by retirees. Neither are students or "discouraged workers".
So looking at the working age population, why aren't more people looking for jobs or finding jobs?
1. Child care? i.e too expensive
2. Working from home jobs? i.e. spoiled brats
3. Cost of commuting. i.e. the price of gas.
4. Safety concerns for commuting, i.e. riding the subway.
etc.

'Biden keeps making claims about the economy that just aren't true. These facts don't lie'

President Joe Biden has gotten into a revisionist history habit.

He has repeatedly claimed that he inherited an economic disaster. It was his policies, he alleges, which brought us back from the brink -- and Biden is likely to repeat that narrative in his State of the Union address on Tuesday.

The only problem with Biden’s version of events is the facts.

Contrary to what President Biden says, inflation was not out of control when he took office

His inflation is NOT 'transitory'

He brags about job growth that is non-existent. He recentky claimed credit for 517,000 jobs added when actually 2.5 million jobs were lost.

Before trying to 'misrepresent' inconvenient economic facts in his State of the Union address tonight, Biden should consider the words of Winston Churchill:

"United wishes and good will cannot overcome brute facts. Truth is incontrovertible. Panic may resent it. Ignorance may deride it. Malice may distort it. But there it is."

All of leftism adheres to the old adage. There’s still leftists that believe Trump told Americans to drink bleach.

LOL

There's far more on the right who still believe the 2020 election was stolen.

So you actually believe rich old white two time presidential candidate failure racial jungle you ain’t black *Joe received more black votes than Obama?

Are you stupid or something?
