Biden slaps taxpayers in the face again with another $1.2 billion of student loans cancelled

Education should be free. Imagine the how the economy would expand, if the best and brightest weren’t saddled with years of debt, as their careers get started.
More free stuff the government gives away.

Super. Who pays for this free stuff? You know that nothing the government gives away is free, right?

I'm not being ridiculous, I'm making a point.

The "you guys will ALWAYS pour cold water on ANY attempt that is made." As if "ANY attempt" is okay.

I'm saying the govt should be smart about how it controls the border. Trump fanatics just want a wall because.... simply because Trump said "build a wall", because people are jumping on the first uneducated theory of how to stop immigrants.

No, the "you guys"... does not function with me. I'm not a Democratic voter, I don't support the Democrats. I've always been in favor of a controlled border that WORKS. But I guess for "you guys" there are only two ways to look at things, Dems and Reps and nothing more.

So you trust the govt more than me huh? Well....

So if you are for a "controlled" border, why aren't you in favor of a border wall that DHS says "works"?

The government needs to reign in on future student debt by limiting the amount a student can get. I would limit student aid to in-state community college and public universities and state colleges.

Taxpayers should not be funding entitled students to attend private colleges. If you can’t afford a private college located three time zones away so you can concentrate in a worthless major, why should the taxpayer fund that?
Remember when Boomers went to nearly free college, because the state was the one funding the college budgets? Eckridge Farm remembers!

Who said it was free? Increased education and productivity makes it a bargain for the country.

Well until that happens, if you enter into a contract that states you are obligated to pay your loan back, then you shouldn't be expecting other taxpayers to pay for your mistakes.
What mistakes? Getting an education is a mistake? Some countries regard it as such and don’t want recent graduates to start out behind the eight ball.

Did you not understand your earlier post included the statement, ''Education should be free.''?
OK, you got me there, but I still feel that not saddling new graduates with steep debts is a win-win for the country. They can start raising families and buying houses, sooner rather than later.

Since he is so good of forgiving those who went to college, perhaps Joe can forgive the yearly budget debt and the total national debt. No more of either. Just think, Joe eliminates 34 trillion dollars just like that. Poof! It is gone. In fact, no matter what we spend, no more deficits. Let's eliminate all taxes and just print up money. Wealtha mania. Oh, the possibilities. Joe never worked a day in his life. Not one. Hunter is an offshoot of that. For he is pampered and still doing what he did.

ZipRecruiter did a survey a couple years back, and nearly half of grads regret their major. I don't want to pay for someone else's foolish decisions.

Hence, the Dem / Socialist nanny state. Pretend-grownups are shielded from their poorly considered decisions and the authoritarian state decides that taxpayers must be penalized.

Just be honest and admit you don't give a shit if anyone goes to college.

It's up to the individual whether they attend college or not. Our current system is government provides for K-12, beyond that it's up to the individual, and as long as that system is in place, pay your own damn bills!!

When I started out, I had to put a lot of things, and a lot of "dreams on hold", but I persevered, and realized many of those dreams. Why can't we expect the same discipline from these people?

“These actions have allowed nearly 4 million people to afford other expenses in their lives -- buy homes, start businesses, pursue dreams that they had to put on hold because of their student loans,” Natalie Quillian, White House Deputy Chief of Staff, said on a call with reporters Tuesday.

There goes the stupidity of Dems. It means I could write a check YOU could not cash. All you College punk asses are just that. Worthless parasites.
Lot like illegals. Excellent matching and stellar dual vote buying action
