Biden should pardon Trump

Biden should offer Trump a pardon for his part in the failed coup if Trump first publicly admits that there was no fraud in the election. This is not to excuse Trump, but it is to perhaps show some of his supporters they have been lied to. Many won't believe him, but it would go a long way toward convincing the ones who aren't completely crazy yet to embrace reality. The pardon should be specific to that one event, and not include all the other things he is responsible for. Trump might have a chance to get out of his other transgressions, but the coup attempt would put him in prison for a long time, or worse.

What makes you think that Trump would agree to be humiliated under any circumstance. Trump isn't going to lie to the people for a worthless pardon from a Fake President.

Cool. He can go to prison for treason then.

I disagree strongly. There must be consequences for his actions or someone will else will do the same thing.

you could be right. It was just an idea to consider.

I'm sure there must be at least a dozen or more that agree with you.
That means nothing as you're not even sure of how many genders there are.

Congratulations. You get a gold star for the day, and you get to lead the class to the cafeteria at lunch.
And you get to sit in the corner with your dunce hat on, as usual.

Silly. I suspect that he is much too smart to make himself look guilty of crimes he didn't commit.

Pardon him for a crime he never committed? For a crime he was never convicted for?

Are you a retard?

You libs are demented....you see only what your masters tell you that you see....like robots....programable and gullible...

No. He shouldn’t.

Trump has done nothing that requires a pardon, you NAZI dingbat.

If Trump were guilty of "treason" or worse, as our lib friends suggest, we would already be familiar with the evidence.

Liberal hopes and liberal arguments aren't "evidence" of a damn thing other than an overactive imagination.

Take that bullshit pardon fantasy, turn that son ***** sideways and stick it straight up your candy ass!

Is there something wrong with you?

Yeah, we're all sick of you liars.

You can't pardon someone who was never convicted of anything. They didn't teach you that in Russia?

Actually, you certainly can. Ford Pardoned Nixon, even though he hadn't been indicted.

Bush pardoned Cap Weinberger, even though he hadn't been convicted and the charges had been thrown out on him once.

Fake news.

When I first read your title, I was thinking it was going to be part of a path to unity. Instead, it sounds like you are advocating threatening Trump with a trial and then negotiating with him with a conditional pardon provided he says he does not believe there was fraud in the Elections. Further, you throw in the coup charge. If that was a coup, it was one that had little planning, coordination, or conspiracy.
