We do have an existential interest in keeping free trade going not just in former Soviet "republics" but also all of Europe. We also have an existential interest in trade with the middle east. And we do have a cultural bond with Israel. Imo, Bibi has shit on that with his RW, authoritarian and militaristic expansion of Israel, but obviously most people getting killed by both sides are not really combatants. Biden's actually been successful in saving Gaza from an imminent assault and beginning to getting the beginning of aid to civilians. Now we should look to see if MBS and Sisi act too.
