In the favour of both sides, there's no political spin that will be able to say that the Ukraine won.

And so we can move on to being able to understand what a win means for America or Russia.

It might be easier to estimate what each side is able to lose and still claim victory.

I'll only proclaim the Crimea in Russia's favour because Russia is essentially defeated without the Crimea.

The truth is that this war is the biggest slaughter in the history of America's wars for the 'friendly' side, due to America's chosen method of hoping to destroy Russia.

I think that might be the solution and I think Ukraine has offered a proper referendum. It has to be on a proper democratic basis though, Not the product of an illegal invasion.
