Harris was ALL the problem - Colored/Woman/and nothing to show for in regards to a solid political experience - required for a US President. - the moment she got nominated for the job - it was Cristal clear to me, The human scumbag will win.
She had solid experience.
4 years as Veep
4 years in the Senate
6 years as attorney General
7 years as district attorney.
Probably more experience than Trump had (never elected to political office), or Obama (4 years as senator, 7 in the state legislature) or Bush (six years as a governor)
Now, if you are saying a black woman should have MORE experience than these MEN, that's a different argument. Not a very good one, but a different argument.
Even with a one year election run and more - the above mentioned factors/hurdles could not have been taken by her - see even a White Woman with loads of political experience and a big name - loosing out to a human scumbag in 2016.
I'm not sure why you think Misogyny is a good thing. It isn't.
The right choice by the Democrats should have been, to concentrate onto a winning running-mate, - who in-turn could have simply replaced a senile politician in e.g. a televised political-show, and within month after the election.
Not really.
Let's review the two times that an incumbent president dropped out during a race.
1968 with LBJ and 1952 with Harry Truman.
LBJ is a particularly telling example. He dropped out after losing New Hampshire. A lot earlier than Biden did. He was succeeded by Hubert Humphrey, who barely lost to Richard Nixon (a human scumbag, by your standards.)
Same thing with Harry Truman. He dropped out, was replaced by Adlai Stevenson, who lost handily to Eisenhower.
Nixon (the first time), Humphrey, Mondale, and Gore were all "winning" running mates, but they all flubbed it when they came up to bat themselves.
The ideal time for Biden to have dropped out was in 2022. He didn't do that, and we got the result that we will all regret.
