Biden lied in his speech in Georgia. He said it is illegal for people to bring food and drink to their neighbors in line. That is an outright lie.

You left out some text in the ellipsis. Like, the exact text that proves you wrong.

Here’s a less “edited” text of the law:
No person shall solicit votes in any manner or by any means or method, nor shall any

person distribute or display any campaign material, nor shall any person give, offer to give,

or participate in the giving of any money or gifts, including, but not limited to, food and

drink, to an elector, nor shall any person solicit signatures for any petition, nor shall any

person, other than election officials discharging their duties, establish or set up any tables

or booths on any day in which ballots are being cast.

So you see, it’s not limited to solicitations. It’s “any person”.

You're a fucking dolt.

You can bring someone water if you're not soliciting votes. If you're too fucking dense to comprehend that, well, that's your problem...

Given I’m a “person” and the law forbids “any person” from giving out water, no. It’s in plain English.

“Nor shall any person”. Any person would be any person. Not just those engaged in soliciting votes.

One who is affiliated with a campaign cannot do this within 100 feet of the polling place.

ANYONE WHO IS NOT CAMPAIGNING FOR A CANDIDATE CAN GO TO THE STORE AND BUY WATER AND HAND IT TO PEOPLE IN LINE.

Lefties, FACT CHECK ME.

Joe knows he is lying.

"When the Bible teaches us to feed the hungry and give water to the thirsty, the new Georgia law actually makes it illegal—think of this—I mean, it's 2020, and now '22, going into that election—it makes it illegal to bring your neighbors, your fellow voters food or water while they wait in line to vote. What in the hell—heck are we talking about? (Laughter and applause.)

I mean, think about it. (Applause.) That's not America. That's what it looks like when they suppress the right to vote."

100% total and utter lie.
Sorry, you lose! I'll bet you hear that all the time.

SB 202 makes it a crime for people — and not just people from political organizations — to hand out food or bottles of water within 150 feet of a polling place or 25 feet of any voter standing in line.

The only kernel of truth is that the law has a sentence which allows poll workers to make available "self-service water from an unattended receptacle to an elector waiting in line to vote." But just because poll workers can make self-service water available, doesn’t mean they are required to come up with a way to make water accessible to voters in every line at every polling site. Also, people could hand out water or food to voters outside the 150-foot and 25-foot boundaries.

We rate this statement Mostly False.

You lose again, Clown.

The law makes it a misdemeanor to give away food or water within 150 feet of the outer edge of a polling place building or within 25 feet of any voter in line. Violations of this law are punishable by up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine. While people other than poll workers can give away food or water, they have to adhere to these boundaries to avoid breaking the law.

How is it in GA that people could be waiting to vote so long that it require them to need food and/or drink?

Does that situation happen in white polling places?
It can, sure, if enough people turn out at the same time to vote and don't go in the morning before work. Normally, it would occur between the time most people get off work and the polls close.

You do not understand the purpose of the law.
It is to prevent campaigning within 100 feet of a polling place.
Texas has a similar law.

This is a typical democrat ploy. Take something that can be twisted to sound really sinister, form a narrative for the faithful to regurgitate, repeat it endlessly, then present as fact something that doesn't resemble what actually happened.

You're such a dumbfuck.

You can't attempt to influence someone's vote (solicit) by bringing someone water or food.

If someone's thirsty and you hand them a bottle of water, you're fine. If you hand them, a bottle of water and say "You can only have this if you vote for Candidate X", then you've broken the law...

Or if you hand them a bottle of water with a large, "Vote for candidate X" label, you're electioneering and you've broken the law. Or if you hand them a bottle of water and say, "This was brought to you courtesy of candidate X", same thing. Despite the hyperventilating democrats bleating in the shadows, no one is trying to condemn anyone to death by forbidding anyone from giving them water.

I’m just reading the law which clearly indicates you are not allowed to hand them a bottle of water no matter what.

The plain text of the law forbids “any person”. If it were limited to people who were campaigning, it would say so. Which, by the way, campaigning within a certain distance of a polling is ALREADY illegal, like, everywhere. This law would be pointless if we were to interpret it as you are doing, which is further evidence you have it wrong.

Except the law does indeed forbid it.

The law simply does not do what he says it does. He's not only NOT spot on, he's lying about it. If you're waiting in line more than 150 away from the poll, there's absolutely nothing preventing anyone from giving you food and water. Don't regurgitate lies and say they're spot on.

It does, liar. Stop lying.

Do you guys even remember how not to lie?
You're standing in line 200 feet from the door to the poll. According to Quid Pro, I'm forbidden from giving you water. That's a lie. Stop regurgitating lies.
