Not really. In my state, you must provide a listing of the jobs for which you applied, so they can check with the employer to see if you have submitted an application and whether or not a job offer was tendered.

He killed thousands of high-paying union jobs when he cancelled the Keystone XL pipeline on day one. That would have more than doubled the nation’s pipeline capacity to import Canadian crude oil efficiently. The oil will now be transported via alternative means that will create more greenhouse gasses.

He rejoined the Paris Climate agreement. The Trump administration had pulled out of the agreement because its provisions did nothing to restrain the world’s biggest emitter, China. The Paris Climate agreement imposes tremendous costs on the United States, without lowering global temperatures by any discernable amount.

Biden is going to sign a five-year extension of Obama’s START nuclear arms control agreement with Russia. The treaty only covered 45% of Putin’s arsenal. It allowed Russia to build more nukes, while requiring the U.S. to reduce our nuclear weapons. And to cap it off, the treaty featured a very weak verification system.

His Middle East policy is also a big "misstep." All he has done so far is to embolden Iran by stating that he wanted to return to the Iran Deal that Obama put in place. He has already jeopardized the Abraham Accords by temporarily freezing arms sales to the UAE. Biden has yet to speak with Israel’s Benjamin Netanyahu, pathetically returning to Obama’s failed policies in the region. Even Biden-sycophant CNN is questioning the delay.

He sided with teachers unions over the needs of families, and especially women, trying to earn a living. Biden’s refusal to order teachers back on the job and indifference to the "science" saying that schools can open safely is payback for union support, but a slap at unemployed workers forced to stay home and care for their kids.

Biden misstepped into another pile of cow shit when he encouraged Democrats to jam through an absurd $1.9 trillion aid package with no GOP votes, destroying his campaign promise to work across the aisle. He pushed the budget-buster deal through even though there remains one TRILLION dollars unspent from prior packages and our economy is rebounding. Buying votes and bailing out blue states with $350 billion of taxpayer funds will not play well in purple states like Georgia, and could prove dangerous to the economy.

As far as the economy, even CNN admitted that the consumer surveys are are was "far worse than economists' had expected, falling to 76.2 points – a major slide from the same period last year, just before the pandemic hit, when the index stood at 101 points." It turns out that people earning less than $75,000 were especially downbeat and that Americans at all income levels soured on the outlook for the future.

CNN actually reported that "the Biden administration's stimulus plans and the vaccine rollout aren't doing much so far to boost consumer confidence."

Saying the same thing. Cops don’t really catch any meaningful number of speeders. No way that process catches a lot of people on applications either. I obviously don’t know that for a fact but I have never had any check up on people I’ve interviewed who were on unemployment.
