Imo that is because we sort of have 4 parties, with 2 in each the gop and dem. Cheney/McConnell v. the Trumpian Trumpeteers and the center left coalition (that actually voted for Biden's nomination) v. the progs. And Biden is incapable of forging a consensus.

Weee!! Since posting this a week ago, RCP now has disapproval of Biden at 54.5 with a net -12.1% while Trump comes in at 51.7% with a net -9.9.

Neither is great, but Trump is the only major political figure in single digits while Kamala is at -14 and Pelosi -24.7.

None of his family members are working at the White House and none of his staffers have been forced to leave because of they couldn't get security clearances. None of his cabinet members have been fired or been involved in ethics scandals.

Biden doesn't attack reporters and call them names during press conferences, nor does he insult the American people by lying to them every day about everything. He passed the American Rescue act to help American families and lifted 8 million people out of poverty. And he doesn't lie about everything.
