Biden Has to Drop Out

Or face defeat. If you look at 2020, this is how the polling looked, only it was a sea of blue. Biden conclusively won. Now they've traded places. Trump is winning every battle ground state and has even put reliably blue states in play. Barring something catastrophic coming from the Trump campaign, there is no way Biden is going to get reelected.

What happened to “81 million votes”?

:laughing0301:

Karma has a sense of humor. In 2020 democrats phonied up an election to put a senile puppet in office. Now they cannot get rid of him and it will cost them this election and likely the next two after that.

Hopefully

The thing about Kamala is I don't know why they think she'd be a better candidate than Biden. The only real factor is she's younger and not dementia ridden. That aside, she's a part of this administration. They will tie all of Biden's policies to her and frame her as four more years of the same.

That’s exactly why. I’d say that’s a pretty big improvement.

Dropping out just because you're losing is a THREAT TO DEMOCRACY

Who's really complaining, but right wingers? Y'all want Biden, your whole campaign has been driven by Biden hatred, without him, what will Trump campaign on....he would need a whole bunch of new material and mantra....

Dems would still have Trump to hate on... Repubs would not have Biden.

I certainly am not looking forward to it all, but it is, what it is...I can deal with it, I just honestly don't want to....!!!
I don’t hate Biden, I think strategically the Democrats have might have blown the election, just like they did in 216. You were bitching about your party not having a real primary and I took your argument away. I am not voting for Trump or Biden because my research see them as spenders and we in America need higher taxes and less spending, so now you are spouting more BS about me. I don’t care if Biden stays in or not, that is what your party needs to decide.

I wasn't bitching about not having a primary with tons of candidates. I was explaining why this change if made would not make democrats think their primary vote was being stolen from them, as was implied in the post I answered.

I think it is a mistake at this point to replace Biden, unless they have a candidate to replace him that will win! If the new candidate can't or won't have time to win, then it is not worth all this dirty laundry showing of splits in the party, and Biden should just stay on the ticket...and lose, if so be it.

No, the repubs actually had these things called "primary elections ".

The dems prevented RFK Jr. from participating.

So, as you said, Joey bribem was pre chosen, democracy be damned.
Yeah, Republicans had primaries in 2020, that were identical to Biden's primary in 2024, no one of significance ran against him in your party....

Was President Trump your pre chosen candidate in the 2020 primary? Heck yeah! Stop being a hypocrite!
I voted for Nikki Haley in the PA primary.
Ron Desantis was another serious candidate.
The majority still wanted Trump, that is a real democracy, not hypocrisy.

In 2020 for trump, NOT in 2024....

When trump was the sitting president running, was in 2020.... He was pre chosen as your candidate in 2020, you had the same type of primary as Biden did this year, as the sitting president.

But the repubs didn't make it impossible for others to do so.

YOUR party did.

Like I said, so much for democracy.

No, he wasn't. There was no "fix" in as there was for Joey bribem this year, and the shrilary in 2016.

True, but Trump didn't promise to be a transitional candidate like Biden did in 2020.
Trump wasn't 81 like Joe is now.
Trump wasn't obviously too old and too senile to serve a 4-year term like Biden is now.

Trump got 11,000,000 more votes in 2020 than he got in 2016.
Think Biden will get more than 81m votes in 2024?

Biden is not senile, dummy!

He's performed his packed filled job well, and democrats appreciate that, whole heartedly. He's gotten more legislation through that democrats have wanted since FDR and Johnson....and he's handled one natural disaster after another, and ONE foreign crisis after another, and united us back with our Allies, which gives us strength again, instead of allying with Russia, and other high profile dictator friends of Trump....he also brought decency, and the norms of govt back....

The issue is some democrats believe he may be too old for another full 4 years of all of this hard work and madness of being President....

Others think, if he wears down in two years, then that is why we elect presidents and vice presidents on the same ticket.

1. Biden is too senile. The 1st debate proved it. That's why so many dems want him to drop out.

2. His admin has been a disaster. that's why he has a 75% "wrong track" number.

3. Smarter democrats see he is too old for another 4-years.

4. The office of president is not for a confused, senile, teleprompter reader.

Trump will be older on inauguration day, 2025 than Biden was on inauguration day 2021.
Trump is obviously too mentally unhinged to serve a 4 year term.
Trump got 11,000,000 more votes in 2020 than he got in 2016.

Oh, all the votes for Trump are legit, while all of Biden's are fake?
