The purpose of any country's military is to be prepared to defend that country by hopefully being a deterrent but otherwise by breaking/destroying things and killing enemies. You want the military to be as ethical as possible when they do that but understand they need to be lean, mean, hardened to handle any battle, and get the job done and in war there are inevitably loss of innocent lives.

Forced diversity, political correctness, sensitivity training, ferreting out any who doesn't share your political dogma etc. etc. etc. accomplishes absolutely nothing that the military is intended to be and do.
