Biden built the Taliban back better! Record Time

Tell yourself that if it salves your conscience and helps you sleep at night but the reality is certainly not that cut and dried. There are SOME people there that are fine with the Taliban. There are also people in Afghanistan that are NOT 'fine" with the Taliban and are going to be slaughtered because Joe Biden is an idiot that refused to listen to his advisors and wanted the political optics of pulling out by the symbolic date of September 11.

Those people had 20 years to get their shit together. And despite us spending a trillion dollars propping them up, and having a 4-1 numerical advantage over the Taliban, they still dropped their rifles and gave up.

Biden actually EXTENDED the deadline Pompeo and Trump had established to give everyone more time to get their shit together or get out...

Biden admitted on national television that consensus was that the Afghanistan army would probably fold by the end of the year and yet he still left 250 billion dollars worth of high tech weapons as a gift for the Taliban.

Um, yeah. "Hey, Afghan Army, could you please turn over all those weapons we gave you, when you are about to go into a fight for your life?" That would have gone over well.

How about next time, we fight our own damned war instead of trying to outsource it to others, then complain about them afterwards.

You arm someone else, you've armed his agenda. We enabled the Nationalists to defeat the monarchies in WWI, and ended up with the Fascists. We enabled the socialists to fight the fascists, and ended up with the communists after WWII. We enabled Islamic Fundementalists to fight the Communists, and we ended up with Jihadists.

He left 15,000 American citizens behind to be taken hostage. abused or whatever else the army he armed decides they want to do with them.
You mean 15,000 Americans who ignored years of warnings that Afghanistan wasn't safe? Yup. We counted on the Afghan Government to protect them, and they failed.

He's left us blind in a region of the world where we desperately need clarity.

No, guy. We have no real interest in that part of the world, other than the machinations of the Zionists and Oil Companies. Our middle east policy for the last forty years is to stick our dicks in a hornet's nest and complain about getting stung.

He's left 60,000 people that helped our troops to be tortured and murdered as an example to anyone that crosses the Islamic militants that he armed.

Sucks to be them. They were happy to cash our paychecks when we wrote them. Once again- 20 years to get their shit together, and they didn't.

He's set the stage for all the girls and young women who've spent the last 20 years living as free people to be enslaved, raped or risk death or dismemberment if the wind exposes their ankle in the sight of a man. That you're "FINE" with that, is sickening.

Again, that's their culture....

The thing was, the people who were on our side weren't keen on liberated women, either, which is why they turned on us.

Lol, what ever. The plan was put into place under trump. Trump signed a treaty that said full removal by June. Biden was there till August. It was common knowledge the treaty was signed for June if you were still there past that point that is on you. Further more the area is land locked there was no way to move all that equipment out in the time given but you just keep on being a child and believing ya bipity bobity boop shit thousands of miles. Fuck off.
What an absolute tool you are. People like you are what is growing my disgust with all democrats. You are fundamentally fucking dishonest if you're trying to say that Biden followed Trump's plan. And seriously? You can't think of a damned thing to do with that equipment if you couldn't get it out in time? Are you really that fucking stupid?

The Trump/Pompeo agreement had no provisions for removing equipment that had been given to the Afghan Military.

The only equipment we were responsible for were the equipment of the 2500 support troops we had left.

No end to the excuses you'll make to defend this Biden fuck up is there? It's their culture so you're A-ok with grown men raping little girls. Good to know.

Save your excuses. Biden had no compunction about changing any agreement Trump had signed so your excuse falls flat. Biden wasn't following Trump's agreement anyway. He wanted a political victory in the 9/11 optics and didn't care who dies to get it.

Do you think the optics would have been any different if the troops were pulled out on May 31st (as Trump agreed to) than August 31st.

You still have the same problem overall... We armed a military that had no interest in fighting for us once we stopped writing them checks, but we certainly weren't going to get the equipment we gave them back.

How do you ask someone to be the last person to die for a mistake?

Biden thought he was master of the universe, until he crashed and burned, and it dawned on him he wasn't the master of anything. soon it will dawn on him to RESIGN!

I thought Trumps policies were irrevocable and tied Bidens hands (so he can't touch little girls)?

Were you lying or just stupid when you said Biden had to follow Trump's Afghan policy?
Tell me if you are going to make a contract with someone to start a

Bla,bla bla ok shortbus. Hilarious

I saw something on Facebook that said something similar. I'm paraphrasing, "Biden just armed Al Qaeda with two hundred million dollars worth of high tech weapons. "
More like $400 million or more.
This is appalling...

Democrats need to demand that Biden must go. he is a clear and present danger to the country they all love. and don't get me started on what dangers he poses to America...

Did the Trump administration have anything to do with the current situation in Afghanistan?

The reader may decide.

Did Trump know he was going to lose his reelection? Did he want to hamstring his Democratic successor?

CNN reports, "Robert Crews, a historian at Stanford University specializing in Afghanistan and central Asia, said he believes the Trump administration's deal with the Taliban last year played a role in the group's takeover of the country.

"The agreement struck last year laid out a 14-month timetable for the withdrawal of "all military forces of the United States, its allies and coalition partners." The US agreed to withdraw troops and release some 5,000 Taliban prisoners, while the Taliban agreed to take steps to prevent any group or individual, including al Qaeda, from using Afghanistan to threaten the security of the US or its allies."

The U.S. military has met its goal of reducing the number of troops in Afghanistan to about 2,500 by Friday, a drawdown that may have violated a last-minute congressional prohibition.

The reduction could complicate matters for the incoming Biden administration, which must determine how to handle a Trump administration commitment to the Taliban to remove all U.S. military, intelligence and contractor personnel from Afghanistan by May as a move to spur peace negotiations. Those talks are in an early stage.

The article is dated Jan. 15, 2021. Trump is still President.

XiNN = LOL

Projecting much? Your guy made the deal and made sure it would very difficult to change.

To be honest, Trump really didn't have much of a choice. There was no desire to escalate the war or do another surge, the Taliban were gaining, and everyone knew that when we pulled out, most of the warlords that supported the government would go back to supporting the Taliban as soon as we stopped writing them checks.
